These sessions are good fun, help to improve strength and mobility which can prevent trips and falls, improve confidence as well as coordination. It has also been found to improve mood, well-being and stress levels

Circle Dancing in Dementia

These sessions are also good fun, can be offered to older people including those with dementia and their carers. This group enhances well-being providing an activity which encourages connection with others and reminiscence 

CST (Cognitive Stimulation Therapy)

CST is an evidence based treatment. UK Government NICE guidance on the management of dementia recommend the use of group CST for people with mild to moderate dementia, irrespective of drug treatments. CST treatment involves 14 sessions of themed activities which run over a seven week period, for up to 6 people with mild to moderate dementia

We also provide entertainment in the form of a display/workshop in Egyptian Belly Dance. The Belly Belles Egyptian Dance Group give a fantastic display of beautiful Arabian dance. The audience also gets to have a go! with sheer silk scarves or beautiful Spanish fans, and of course - coin scarves! Its all such fun with lots of giggles!
